Our History

Guasco and Associates began trading on 7th August 2017.

The practice was set up by Paolo Guasco, with the aim of providing independent, open, communicative, top-notch equine veterinary care with particular emphasis on sports medicine, performance issues and prevention of injuries. We are committed to providing you with the highest standards in veterinary practice whilst being friendly and approachable.

We were initially based in a very small, 15x15ft office on the outskirts of Alcester. We quickly outgrew our first premises after we literally filled it to the ceiling. We then moved to our beloved office in the heart of the Cotswolds. Over the years, we purchased and set up more and more diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, further improving the quality of our services and the range of procedures and treatments we can offer to your horse.

We continuously invest in education, continuing professional development, equipment and facilities.

We are, and will always be, an independent firm, meaning that we are not owned or connected to any corporate or management firm. All advice we give, every procedure we perform, and every treatment we prescribe is in the interests of you and your horse only and not tied to any marketing or business targets.

Years have gone by but our drive is just as strong and our goal still the same: to provide a friendly, top-notch veterinary service and do our best to make sure your horse comes home a bit quicker than the others in the race.
