Examples of conditions requiring urgent veterinary care are colics, wounds, fractures, eye injuries, choke, recumbent horses (horses that are in distress and can’t get up), acute neurological disorders and penetrating wounds (especially if close to a joint and associated with acute lameness).
We always carry the equipment and medications to deal with such conditions in our vehicles.
